Problems with spam, e-mail fraud and domain abuse have become very common. The aim is to get hold of sensitive information, money or spread viruses and other malware. Often through emails that appear to come from a person or company they want to impersonate, with that person’s exact email address as the sender. It is also common for the email you send to end up in the recipient’s spam folder.
Everyone can be affected by email fraud – your own organisation, customers, suppliers, employees, students and guardians. Companies, municipalities and schools must therefore be able to trust that the email sent from the organisation’s domain actually reaches the recipient and that what is sent actually comes from the systems that the organisation has chosen to use.
