Safe even in case of unwanted interruptions
If the internet connection is interrupted during the test, students can continue working offline without the risk of losing what has been written. There is also no risk of losing work if the student’s Chromebook crashes during the test or if the battery discharges. Everything is stored in our cloud storage in Google Cloud.
Effective support for teachers and students
ChromEx is easy to use and saves a lot of time for both teachers and students. Teachers can choose between different types of tests with everything from advanced question options to blank pages for, for example, essay writing, which is almost identical to Google Docs. There are several ways to connect students to a test. Google Classroom can be integrated into ChromEx, making it easy and convenient to create exams for classes already completed in Google Classroom. It is also possible to invite a domain group for the students who are to write an exam, or to add students individually. Tests and questions that the teacher creates can be saved and reused at other times. With a simple push of a button, the teacher gets a good overview of which students have submitted an assignment. Submitted samples are stored in a special folder on Google Drive and saved in two formats, PDF and Google Docs. The teacher can share the test with the student, guardians and, for example, teacher colleagues.
