Use Google Drive to send large files

Gmail lets you send files up to 25 Mb. This is sufficient in most cases, but sometimes you need to send really large, heavy files. It can be documents with text and image to be proofread, movie clips or a zip file with all the images from a photo shoot.

If you use Google Drive with Gmail, you can easily send very large files. Here’s how – Make sure the file you want to send is saved on Google Drive. In Gmail, select “Write” to open a brand new email. Write your message to the recipient and when you are ready to attach your huge file, click on the Drive icon at the bottom right of the “Send” button. Very flexible!
