Google Meet is an integrated part of Google Workspace, which means you can start a meeting from any tool in Google Workspace. You do not need to install any additional software. If you want to use your mobile phone or tablet, you can use the Google Meet app, which you can download from Google Play or the Apple Store. Invite colleagues, customers, and suppliers quickly and easily with one click. An invitation is sent to participants and information about the meeting is automatically displayed in Google Calendar. Encrypted transmission is standard
By default, all video meetings are transmitted encrypted between the client and Google. Meet follows the IETF security standards for DTLS (Datagram Transport Layer Security) and SRTP (Secure Real-time Transport Protocol).
Protecting your privacy and data
Google Meet follows the same strong privacy and data protection commitments as other Google business services. Meet has no features or software for recording users’ attention. Meet does not use customer data for advertising and does not sell customer data to third parties.
